Off site fabrication means most of the cutting, fitting, sanding, staining, and preparation happens in COVER Timberworks’ shop before the structure arrives at the jobsite. This creates a cleaner, faster, and more controlled installation process.
Fabricating in a controlled shop environment helps reduce weather related delays and allows for stricter quality control throughout the process. The timber frame components can be prepared, checked, and finished before they are delivered to the home.
Off site fabrication also makes installation more efficient. When the posts, beams, rafters, braces, and joinery arrive prepared, the crew can focus on assembling the structure instead of doing the bulk of the cutting and finishing on site. That means less disruption at the home, less jobsite mess, and a faster installation process.
The same approach applies to timber frame pergolas and pavilions alike.
Most of that precision comes from the advantages of our CNC saw system.
